Simple Past Tense adalah bentuk waktu yang digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu perbuatan atau kegiatan yang terjadi dimasa lampau dan waktu terjadinya persitiwa itu telah diketahui.

Rumus Simple Past Tense :

S+V2+O

(+) S+V2+O
(-) S+did+not+V1+O
(?) did+S+V1+O

Was = I,she,he,it

Were= you, we, they

Example :

1. menggunakan kata kerja

(+) They  slep on the bad

( - ) They did not sleep on the bad

 (?)  Did they sleep on the bad ?

2. menggunakan bukan kata kerja

(+) She was very beautiful

(-) She wasn't very beautiful

(?) was she very beautiful ?

Earthquake

Earthquake often happens around us. It brings great damages. Earthquake is hard to be predicted and that makes lot victims.

Actually there are three kinds of earthquake. This kinds of earthquake are commonly base on the factor and geological area where the earthquakes happen. These three kinds of earthquake are tectonic, volcanic and explosion.

Tectonic earthquakes is most common one. This kind of earthquake happens while earth's crust rocks break because of the geological strength created by moving of the earth's plates.

Volcanic earthquakes happen exactly with volcanic activity. Volcanic earthquakes are when the volcano produces acidic lava, which drys quickly, when it drys quickly it blocks the top of the volcano. This make no more magma can escape. Pressure starts to build up and eventually the acidic lava can no longer stand the pressure. So the volcano is free to explode, the pressure is released so fast that an earthquake is caused. A volcanic earthquake is usually kept within 10-20 miles of the volcano.

Explosion earthquakes are the result of the collapse earthquakes that are small earthquakes occurring in underground mines and caverns.

THE FOX and THE CROW

One bright, sunny morning, an ugly black crow perched on the branch of a tree. She had just stolen a tasty piace of cheess, and was about to enjoy it.

Just then a dark brown fox passed by. Then he saw the food in the crow’s beak. His mouth watered. So, he thougth fox a clever plan to get the cheess.

The fox looked up at the crow, he said : ” I have always admire your beauty, with your soft, sinny feathers and nice beak. If your vouice is as fine as your looks, your cloud be the Queen of the bird.

The crow lifted her head and began to cow her best. But, at the moment she opened the cheess. The chees fell down to the ground. The fox took the cheess and then he ran away J J Jkeep smile !!!!!

Troubling earthquake back Bengkulu city residents. Earthquake measuring 5.5 magnitude was held on Sunday 23-018-2013 at 16:00 pm to be exact. Issues of Bengkulu tsunami will start popping up in some areas when the earthquake has subsided. Such issues make all citizens to panic. anticipating issues that have been outstanding, head of the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) said the quake measuring 5.5 magnitude was no tsunami potential. Statement BMG head make people calm and started back issues tsunami disappear instantly.
Although this event has passed several years ago, but it is still a hot topic that has such basic daily conversation for the citizens of the city of Bengkulu.
