Simple Past Tense

Simple Past Tense adalah bentuk waktu yang digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu perbuatan atau kegiatan yang terjadi dimasa lampau dan waktu terjadinya persitiwa itu telah diketahui.

Rumus Simple Past Tense :

S+V2+O

(+) S+V2+O
(-) S+did+not+V1+O
(?) did+S+V1+O

Was = I,she,he,it

Were= you, we, they

Example :

1. menggunakan kata kerja

(+) They  slep on the bad

( - ) They did not sleep on the bad

 (?)  Did they sleep on the bad ?

2. menggunakan bukan kata kerja

(+) She was very beautiful

(-) She wasn't very beautiful

(?) was she very beautiful ?
